Okay, I know Christmas is over, but the lime in this candle makes it acceptable, in my book, to leave out until spring.  My favorite Christmas candle is Mistletoe from Yankee Candle, but this new Pinecone & Lime scent is mixes two of my favorite things and I cannot get enough of it!

I’m also loving Oreos.  More specifically, the Oreo ice cream my husband made with these Oreos that we ate up too quickly for me to get a picture of.  Whoopsie…

Essie Repstyle!  Have you tried any magnetic nail polishes!?  This is the first one I’ve tried, and I LOVE the pattern it creates.  It took a little getting used to, but once I got the hang of using the magnet it worked well, and the results look like they took way more time than they did.  Full review post coming with my tips for using the magnet!

The first thing I’m thankful for this week is our wedding album!  It arrived late last week and I basically ripped it out of the box.  Ross and I picked the images together about two months ago and then I spent many hours designing it and getting it just how I wanted it.  Throughout the process I took the files home to show Ross and make sure he was happy with the progress, and to give me a chance to step away and look at it with fresh eyes.  In the end I am soooo happy with how it turned out!  Above is the cover and a shot of one of my favorite spreads, shots of me with my little sisters.  Adam did an amazing job capturing our day despite the pouring rain and Ross and I are so thankful for these images that we will treasure forever!

My Christmas kind of lasts forever, so this past weekend finally wrapped up all the Christmas celebrations I attended!  I love this globe ornament from my friend, it’s too pretty to just have out at Christmas so I’ve hung it on the door of a dresser/storage piece we have in our office nook.

My aunt got me the simplest yet most amazing gift for Christmas.  I paint my nails a couple of times a week and go through a lot of top coat, so she got me the professional size version of my favorite top coat!  It’s eight times the size of the usual bottle and came with a funnel to refill the small bottles!  I was so excited, this should last me a full year for sure!

This week I’m thankful for the new table that Ross and I got each other for Christmas.  We ordered it about two months ago and it arrived on New Year’s Day.  My mom knew it was coming and got me a pretty bowl to put on it, and I went shopping in her storage closet and found some cool balls of sticks to put in there.  They match the wood on the table perfectly!

The after Christmas sales have been awesome — I got a new sweater and two shirts, plus two shirts and a tie for Ross all more than 50% off!  I also stopped at Stein’s and checked out their Christmas clearance and got this cool gold coral branch to stick in the tree next year!  I love putting unexpected things in my Christmas tree.

KJS_7320I’m mostly thankful for the New Year — partially because it means a new planner.  I love starting fresh and writing down everyone’s birthdays and all the important dates to remember for the year.  It gets me excited about what’s to come!
